Turtle Fur is a company founded in 1982 and located just north of Stowe, near Vermont’s highest peak, Mount Mansfield. The company says its original idea was to create comfortable, quality products to help people stay outside longer to enjoy the things they love to do.
Their line of clothing mostly to keep the head and neck protected from the elements, includes the beautiful, WARM, faux fur headband you see me wearing here along with a variety of gaters for adults and children, in many different colors. It wasn’t easy to find information about other programs this seemingly humble organization has created, including a scholarship for which Vish was a recipient.
