The Bike Shop
May 18, 2013 by Jean Oshima
The Bike Shop in Temecula has such a great reputation. Since opening its doors, I've heard nothing but good things about this place. And although I am not one of those serious cyclists we see dotting Southern California bike lanes, I do ride. I have two bikes, a mountain bike, which hangs in my garage just waiting for me to take it down and dust the cobwebs from its spokes, and my street bike, which I ride once or twice a week. It's possible the mountain bike may be coming down sooner than it expected Filed Under: 5 Heart Rating Tagged With: bike, bikes, cycle, cycling, Temecula, The Bike Shop
California T’s
May 15, 2013 by Jean Oshima
I've been doing business with California T's since it opened its doors in 1995. I cannot say enough good things about this family-owned company. From the first conversation you have with Elliott, you will feel completely at ease. These people know what they're doing, take great pride in their work, and treat their customers like they are the most important customer they have, whether you have an order of 12 or 1200. Missy Andersen's website starts off with this line: "YOU’LL KNOW EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT MISSY ANDERSEN shortly after she hits the stage in her “cute shoes.” Yes, she really has a voice -- powerful, passionate and satiny at the same time -- and she’s fun, with a coy, sexy-girl-next-door way about her, and a sly sense of humor."
Well, I have to disagree. Just the other day, before Missy even took the stage, she was greeting and welcoming people in the audience and walked over Read more [...]

Bed Headz
April 11, 2013 by Jean Oshima
This 5 Heart Rating comes from my 24-year-old son who has been frequenting Bed Headz in Temecula, California now for a couple of years. What really stood out for me when talking with him about this place many times is the fact that he doesn't even have to make an appointment with a particular stylist. He has had four different ones so far, and he has been happy with all of them! Now this may not seem like that big of a deal to you, but if you knew my son, you would know he is extremely picky Read more [...]

E.A.T.
April 16, 2013 by Jean Oshima
Over the years I have gotten a lot of satisfaction from recommending all sorts of favorite things to people. But E.A.T., a local restaurant in Temecula, California takes the cake (pun intended) when it comes to the number of people who have gotten back to me with rave reviews about the eatery. Virtually every single person I have told about this unique dining experience, with its locally inspired organic produce and meats and wines from Temecula Valley, have become regular patrons of the restaurant.
