This is going to be one of those very rare (this may be just the second one) 5 Heart Rating that I am endorsing based on someone else’s experience. My daughter, on a recent journey to Africa, messaged me with a very enthusiastic suggestion that I give Mobile Passport Control a resounding 5 Heart Rating. Apparently it saved her over two hours when re-entering the United States. There’s also a nearly perfect 5-star rating from over 55,000 reviews for the app which is nearly unheard of.

According to a simple search, the traveler’s passport information and answers to CBP (Customs and Border Protection) inspection-related questions are submitted directly to CBP via secure encryption protocols.
Makes sense to me. And although I have no international travel plans in the works, I’ve already downloaded the app. Btw, my daughter has never recommended I give anything a 5 Heart Rating. Ever.
