Although MJ has moved on to bigger and better things, I couldn’t possibly make a list of the best of the best without including him. I am not the type of person that idolizes people, especially entertainers, Hollywood celebrities, etc. But I had the priviledge of meeting Michael Jackson while working at Walt Disney World and I have to say, he was the most kind person I have ever met. On one occasion I almost ran him over with my car late at night on my way to make a bank deposit at the end of my shift. As you can imagine, in MJ fashion, as peaceful and calm as can be, he simply smiled and waved me on. Many years later I waited in line for hours to order tickets to his concert at the Tokyo Dome and waited in line even longer to pick up the tickets. There was a 6 ticket limit so I carefully selected 5 friends to join me for what was the greatest night of my life! I won’t even try to put to words what it is like to be in Michael Jackson’s audience. From the moment we arrived until I was back at home, I felt like I was in a dream state. The day Michael passed, my children told me they had gotten tickets for me to fly to London to see him in concert for my birthday. I always say I wouldn’t change one single thing about my life. There is only one exception- I would go back and make sure my kids got to see Michael Jackson perform, live. There is nothing that even comes close in comparison. And I’ve seen a lot of great live performances.
