I realize a lot of people do not like licorice. I love licorice. All licorice. But black is by far my favorite. My favorite licorice is made by Darrell Lea, an Australian company. You can see it in the featured image here. I have found it at all kinds of stores ranging in price from 2 for $5 at Target up to $7 at a specialty store.

Have you had the one in the feature photo? It is so good. Not all Targets carry it but some do. They sell out of the black licorice and seem to have the red in stock more. But it is incredibly fresh and delicious. Cannot believe the price difference depending on where you buy it. I’ve found it in specialty nostalgic-type stores for no less than $5 bucks. Exact same product as Target but Target’s is fresher I think.
