If you are moved by nature, architecture, history, culture, restoration, conservation, recycling, sustainaility, building, craftsmanship, innovation, creativity, ingenuity, and the sort, you are going to love this series.
I have only seen three of the first season’s episodes and am completely hooked. I already want to go back and watch these three again, but am also anxious to see what is in store with the other episodes.
The first episode, filmed in Sweden, grabbed me. I watched it twice already, once with my children. Same goes for the third episode which features Bali.
I won’t ruin it for you by going into too much detail but I will say, one of the things I really enjoy about this series is the backstories. Yes, each episode is about homes and what goes into the creation and formation of the physical structures, but the narrative leading up to, during, and since the completion of each home is what really fascinated me.
