Harmony Lane Goat Dairy Farm

I’ve visited many farms in my life but never a goat farm. Harmony Lane Goat Dairy Farm in Smithville, Tennessee, was quite the experience beginning with a tour with the owner and her guard dog,

My daughter and I drove about 1 1/2 hours to to the farm where we were greeted by the owner. We learned so much about goats that day! We had a full tour, got to play with the goats and feed them. And we even got to milk them! Highly recommend a visit to this great farm.

Here’s a video of my daughter, Emi, milking one of the goats:

Oh and if you can go in November 2018 sometime to meet the new baby Nigerian Dwarf due any time. Almost forgot to mention they just added 2 beautiful llamas to the farm – Lucy & Ricky!

Update October 31, 2018:

Harmony Farms welcomed some new babies!

This is baby Levy:

And these are the triplets, Since their mother is named Aspen, after Harmony Lane’s tree line it is fitting for the triplets to have tree names… Willow, Cedar, and Maple. Seen here with HL owner’s dad:

Also, I experimented with the delicious cow and goat butter at Harmony Lane and created these sunflower sugar cookies. The frosting, made with the butter was especially delicious!
