When the Waking Up App was recommended to me it was a while before I actually took a look at it. Boy do I wish I had done so sooner! I love foreign films. Palm Trees in the Snow is a Spanish romantic drama by Fernando González Molina. The screenplay is based on the novel of the same name, Palmeras en la nieve, by Luz Gabás. I almost wish I had read the book first. Since books are always better than the movie, the book must be amazing. This movie starts in 1968 and picks up again in 2003 with flashbacks to 1954. This guy is so funny! I just randomly picked a sample from YouTube below but that's the thing about Sebastian Maniscalco - everything he does is funny. You can just Google his name and select from any of his appearances on late night tv shows, standup, etc..
